Facts about Sassy
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
already spayed, housetrained, and not good with cats.
I am already spayed, housetrained, and not good with cats.
Sassy is a 2 year old female kitty. Sassy was a mom cat at a very early age so missed out on her chance to really be a kitten. Once her babies were rescued and weaned or adopted, Sassy has made up for lost time and is nothing but a big kitten herself. Actually Sassy even looks like a big kitten – she is quite petite and certainly acts like a kitten.
Sassy is a very appropriately named cat. She also could be named Wild Thing or Crazy Momma or The Entertainer. Sassy is pure personality. She is an especially smart cat and loves to entertain with her silly antics. She plays like crazy and actively seeks attention whenever anyone is around. As she calms down she may become a lap cat but, for now, she is primarily a comedian and performer.
Sassy would do well in an active home. She probably needs to be an only cat or, at least, be the head cat as she will expect to be the center of attention. If you are looking for a high profile, high energy cat, definite come take a look at Sassy.

About Our Shelter...
Adopting the unadoptable. Providing abandoned and unwanted pets a second chance.
Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no kill shelter, housing almost 200 healthy cats and kittens, as well as special needs, FIV and FELV cats. They are housed in rooms not cages; waited on by loving volunteers, have toys, TV’s with cat videos and water fountains.
The goal of the shelter is to not only find them homes, but to provide a wonderful home for the cats while they are in our care.
We hope to someday provide an equally loving environment for dogs and other animals when we have a larger facility.
