Roo's Story...
If you are looking for a very friendly and athletic dog then Roo could be the one for you. She has a ton of personality and her tail hardly ever stops wagging. Roo absolutely loves to play with other dogs. She enjoys romping, wrestling and running in the yard. She knows when it is playtime and knows when to settle down. She is quiet and very obedient in the house. She is housebroken and crate trained too. Roo is even good with cats! Roo has the shiniest black coat. She is truly stunning. Her legs are shorter than the average lab – there is most likely a basset, corgi or dachshund in her heritage. Roo walks wonderfully on lead and will enjoy exploring the neighborhood with her new family. She would love to go on hikes and adventures and rides very nicely in the car. Roo is 18 months old and weighs 40 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roo, a Mocksville Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
