I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
I'm Evan! I am about 6 years old as of July 2012. My best friend is Tommy and I would love to be placed with him. I have a very sad past. I had an owner but she passed away. When she passed, her family kicked all 17 of us cats outside onto the street. They also stopped feeding us. We were starving and started crawling to the windows to the kitchen when we smelled them cooking food. Thankfully CATALES came and rescued us from this horrible situation. When I was found I was so sick and week that I had to be fed from a syringe. I also am FIV+. Humans cannot catch this and it is very, very difficult for other cats to catch. I am a very friendly boy once I know you. I need a cat experienced, patient person to adopt me who will give me plenty of time to adjust. I'd like a quiet home without children or dogs. I love other cats. I am double pawed and have the most remarkable, exotic looking markings! I have a lot of love to give and would love to come home with you! Please adopt Tommy and I!

Our Adoption Process...
CAT TALES, Inc. helps homeless, abandoned cats find responsible and loving permanent homes. As Cat Tales does not take owner-surrendered cats, the cats we rescue have been abandoned, neglected or abused. While we generally trap, spay/neuter and release feral cats, occasionally we rescue ferals or semi-ferals from the colonies we help feed. Almost all of these animals have survived hunger and illness before entering the safety of CAT TALES.
We are looking for very special people who truly care about these animals, not as property but as friends who will become a part of their adoptive families. Our priority is to make sure that the cats will never again need to be rescued. In order to accomplish this goal, we ask all potential parents to fill out a detailed adoption application. Adoption from CAT TALES means that you will be asked to make a tax deductible adoption donation and to pay for spay/neuter if it has not been done before you adopt. We also ask that the adopter agrees to follow-up visits from someone at CAT TALES. We want to do everything possible to make sure that the animals we place find the best possible homes and safest futures once released from our care.
