My name is Major. I'm a neutered male Shepherd blend, mostly a soft tan brown with shield of white fur on my chest. I am 5 years old, and I weigh 69 lbs. On a recent outing, I had a great time. I rode in the car, which I like. I met lots of other dogs, we all got along great. I met lots of people and kids and liked all of them! I know "sit" and "shake" and take treats very gently. I like to be with my person. I enjoy going for walks on a leash, but I'm also happy just sitting or lounging around. I am a low key, mellow guy who doesn't get excited even when other dogs around me do. I learn quickly and am ready for my forever home.

When you come to see me at the shelter, ask to meet me because I'm in the back in a nice quiet area since I don't like being kenneled very much. Just ask for an "interact" with me, and my friends at the shelter will bring me into a little play yard to meet you!
