Josie's Story...
Josephine is a sweet, very well behaved dog. She is gentle and patient, and gets along with her other canine foster brothers and sisters extremely well.

Josie asks permission to get on the furniture, and when she needs to go outside she gives you a “rooooooo!”.

Josie is housebroken, knows to sit, stay, shake, "go in the house", "go upstairs", and "move, please". She very much likes to be with humans and is friendly to everyone she has met.

Josie is mellow and calm but has energy to play too. She just discovered the joys of chewing on hooves and rawhides, but does not chew on anything else. What a wonderful dog!

Josie has been spayed, is UTD on vaccinations, HW tested, and ready for her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Cleveland American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
