My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midori is a cute about 4-year old flame-point Himalayan female that has been through quite a lot. Being a 4-paw declaw she was found roaming the streets of San Diego fending for herself without having a means of defense.
After being in foster care for a while now she has learned she is safe and that she can relax. She has become very affectionate and loves having her head and chin scratched. Her eyes need daily cleaning as she has the typical Persian eyes. Midori is not that fond of being brushed, she will endure short sessions. The best thing is to have her shaved in a cute lion cut twice a year.
Midori is playful, very affectionate in little doses, she will let you know when she had enough and we humans need to respect that.
She lives her canned Wellness chicken and will meow for it.
She likes to lay next to me on the couch, her paw in my lap while licking my arm or hand. Midori gets along with other cats but is not the cuddly type with them. She will ask for space. Since she doesn't have claws the other cats need to be friendly. She used to sleep with me on the bed but with my own cats and foster its too crowded for her.
She probably would be happiest in a home where she is the only cat or just one more. Midori requires an experienced adopter, that is patient with her and gives her time to settle in a new home and feel safe. With patience and love she will make a wonderful companion.
