PJ's Story...
PJ is a 16-18 week old long haired orange tabby boy. PJ was found with his littermates living under a back porch in West Town. They were a sick little bunch but got healthy pretty quick. PJ has been the most shy of all the kittens. But he found his courage and started going out throughout the house and even going up to my adult cat. PJ loves treats and bits of cooked chicken. He will eat it from your hands. And with time, he will come and lay near you. He is a rough and tumble little guy and used to love to wrestle with his brother, Milo. His favorite toys are feather wands. He also loves the Cat Dancer, and will pounce all over you trying to catch it. Oh, and PJ loves to look out the window. He would love to watch the birds and people. My friend, Nancy, and I fostered the kittens for 3.5 months and got very attached to them. If possible, please provide an update so we can know they are with a good family at Thank you,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PJ, a Chicago Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
