My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued Chester from a local shelter. He was found as a stray. No one claimed him. Nor would anyone adopt him since he is blind. Our eye doctor said he was most likely born with cataracts which cause his eye blindness. You would NEVER know he is blind. He is young (under 5 years old)and does anything any other dog can do. He weighs 10 pounds and we believe him to be young. He uses the dogie door and plays with all the foster dogs he is staying with. He is up to date on all his medical and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $350. Complete our online adoption application if you would like to adopt Chester. We require a home visit and vet reference. We do not transport our Pekes. Chester is being fostered in Va Beach Va. Our web site is www.potomacpekes.org

Update from Chester's foster Mom:

It would only take someone 5 minutes with this amazing animal. He has been sweet from day one but now his little personality has come out. He is quite able to handle himself, ie my Mitzi tried to take his treat and he lit into her (just noise but Mitzie move on:)) He rolls over for tummy rubs every chance he gets. He gives kisses, kisses, kisses. He goes out the doggie door by himself and comes back in by himself now. He doesn't need to "follow" one of the pack. It is so cute to watch him. He follows the outline of the flower beds to get back to the gate and somehow he manages to walk directly to the doggie door. I find him absolutely amazing. I never get tired of watching him. And, he would love to just sit in your lap or next to you all day long. What a trooper!!!
