Palmer's Info...

Palmer's Story...
Palmer is gorgeous - probably Maine Coon. He is somewhat shy and uncertain but recognizes his foster mom's hand as providing head rubs and chin scratches, which he loves. Palmer just needs a person who understands his shyness and allows him to be himself. He'll come around - just give him a little time to trust you. He came to TLC as a very young, very ill little kitten when he arrived - and didn't like people at all. He's come a long way to physical and emotional health and will make a wonderful companion to someone who deserves him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Palmer, a Elfers Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Elfers, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Elfers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elfers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elfers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elfers paves the way for another one to be saved.
