Mylo is the SWEETEST most humble and appreciative little guy ever! A man pulled up at our transport loading area one Friday a couple of months ago and said he heard this was a good place to meet rescuers that might take his dog. I said “Let me see him” On our way to his car he said “Also, he was hit by a car a few days ago and I haven’t been able to take him to the vet.” Well, this poor sweet dog had his back right leg mangled. When I looked at his face, he smiled and wagged his tail. We put him in the car and drove 45 minutes back to my vet and he just looked around, smiled and wagged the whole ride. All of the vet techs and vets instantly fell in love with this sweet, brave dog! After xrays, it was apparent that we would have to remove his leg and three pieces of pelvis. Mylo was just about to be “good as new” when he broke with the parvovirus. This poor brave boy, once again fought for his life and won. Mylo is happy and agile and full of fun now. All he needs and wants is a family of his own that wants him and loves him and will keep him safe. I don’t know of a dog that deserves it more! Mylo loves other dogs, preferable not too rough and would be fine with cats. He is about a year old and weighs about 25 to 30 lbs.
