Bryant's Story...
My name is Bryant. I'm about 3-4yrs. old and weigh around 75lbs.. I love people of all ages and like being around other dogs (especially the ladies).. I was rescued from Levy County Animal Services the day before I was scheduled to be euthanized.. you see.. no one wanted to save me because I was heartworm positive.. but Ms. Gigi and Ms. Jody said they loved me for the sweet boy I am.. that I deserved a "second chance".. so I'm alive today and very grateful for Ms. Gigi.. I'm neutered, up to date with my vaccines, microchipped, on flea prevention.. and best of all.. I have a lot less heartworms now.. Ms. Jody has been giving me the medicine to slowly kill those stupid worms.. I'm enjoying living on the farm and being spoiled rotten by my foster parents (I'm in the Marion/Alachua county area).. My dream home would have a large, secure yard/pasture to explore and maybe a barn that I could rest undisturbed in. (I like a cozy/safe place to sleep, but don't need to be inside a house.) If you would like to give me a forever home, please contact Ms. Jody.. you can call or text (352)316-5155.. or send her an email at Come out to the farm and spend some time with me.. I know you'll fall in love with my laid back personality and my long, floppy ears.. Thanks, Bryant

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bryant, a Williston Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Williston, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
