Hi, I'm Tessa! I'm a fun-loving girl - full of friendly licks and playful energy! I love playing in the water during the hot summer days! I also enjoy retrieving tennis balls - and I'll chase (and bring) them as long as you'll keep throwing them. I'm currently living with a foster family in the Alachua County area. I love to run and play - and would enjoy agility training!
Please call or send a text message to Jody at (352)316-5155 to hear more of my story or email her for an application SCRWestLevy@gmail.com... Thank you!
Second Chance Rescue is headquartered in Bunnell, Florida. The Western Region covers a rural area in the Gainesville/Ocala area with a network of volunteers and foster homes. We rescue from Levy County Animal Services. (We do not have a facility in Williston - but that zip code is fairly central to our network of foster homes.)
Donate to Our Rescue Group...
Donations can be made directly to our vet or via Paypal to email@example.com
Come Meet Our Pets...
Most of our adoptions are done following a telephone conversation, application approval and play date/home visit. We do limited adoption events at Tractor Supply in Jonesville (Newberry Road, west of Gainesville). If you are interested in a particular dog, give us a call today!
Our Adoption Process...
Each adoption has an application process, home visit, contract, and adoption donation. The process almost always starts with a brief telephone conversation to get things started! :-) Call today and we'll do our best to match you with a great forever friend!

You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
