Ruby's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ruby's Story...
Ruby is spayed and approximately 2-3 years old. She has had her first set of vaccines and deworming on June 29th. She will need her last set of vaccines and additional deworming around July 20th. She is heartworm positive and has had her first injection of immiticide on July 2nd. She will need two more injections of immiticide on August 2nd and 3rd. She is currently taking prednisone and doxycycline while having heartworm treatment. She is very sweet and loving, and not nearly as nervous as she was when she first showed up at my house. She is approximately 17lbs. She did get along well with my dog Jack (and he is very rambunctious!) so I would think she would be ok with another dog as long as she’s not overwhelmed with a large group of dogs all at once. I’m not sure how she would be around cats. She is still trying to adjust to the idea of going potty outside because she is being kept inside right now. As far as I know, she’s never been inside before I got her. She is getting better about not soiling her bedding/kennel area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Greensboro Miniature Pinscher/Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Manchester Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
