Lune's Story...
Lune and her sister Soleil are sweet country girls. They came to us very under-weight and with dull coats, but now living a healthier and happier existence!! They have made some awesome strides since coming into the rescue! Lune is the darker colored one of the two, and is slightly larger than her sister. Both are very sweet with people and do well with other dogs. They’re affectionate, sweet and loving companions that would love to have forever homes of their own.
Soleil has been adopted and now Lune is ready for a home of her own, too!
Lune is good with older kids, but due to her herding instincts, young children may not be a good idea.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lune, a Greensboro German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
