Dowell's Story...
My name is Dowell in honor of the street I was found on 4th of July, I am a rescue stray scared and no where to go with no owner tags, micro chip and no response to numerous ads. I have now been altered and available for adoption. I am loyal an very affectionate when you get to know me. I walk well on a leash and luv my tummy rubbed. My foster family says it is apparent that I have been a street dog for awhile because when I am out I have to pee on several bushes to "mark" my way home! I never get lost and am very dedicated to my family and protect them if duty calls. I have been looking for a new forever home for quite some time and though my foster family is great it would be nice to settle down. If your in the market, please give Saving Souls a call!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dowell, a Scottsdale Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
