Apple's Story...
This baby girl ended up in the scary shelter when the owners said the mommy dog got hit by a car. They said mom was a Shih Tzu, but precious little
Apple looks like she is Dachshund-Terrier-Cute-As-A-Button mix. She has just about the cutest ears we have seen on a pup.....and the personality to match
those adorable ears! We are guessing Apple was born in mid-June & will be in the 15 lb range
when fully grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apple, a La Habra Heights Shih Tzu/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Dachshund for sale in La Habra Heights, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in La Habra Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Dachshund breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
