Rugby's Story...
Rugby was in great need of a haircut which you will see in his last picture. What can we say about Rugby? He is full of spunk! He is a great little guy does well with young and old because he walks great on a leash. He gets along with other dogs fine, however he doesn't let them bully him just because he's small. Rugby was a little chubby when he came to us but he was worked some of that off with walking and eating his favorite snack which are green beans. Rugby is low heartworm positive, however he is on the slow kill method which is an increased dosage of Heartguard. The rescue will continue to pay for his Heartguard and have him tested every six months until he tests positive. Rugby's adoption fee is 150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rugby, a Titusville Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Titusville, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Titusville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Titusville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Titusville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Titusville paves the way for another one to be saved.
