Simone's Story...
Simone ended up in a shelter with her babies. Simone looks like she has been forced to have quite a few litters. She is a very sweet and calm girl. She is a little on the shy side, however she walks great on a leash. Simone is looking for a family that will love her for herself and not use her breed and good looks to make money off of. Simone does have heartworms however she is going through the slow kill method. The rescue will cover the cost of Heartguard and a heartworm test every 6 months until Simone is finally free of them. Her adoption fee is 150.00

About Our Rescue Group...
A small group of family and friends dedicated to saving the lives of pets. Our name represents the FAITH that we have in our rescued pets, the HOPE they have that one day they will find their forever home, and the unconditional LOVE that they give.

Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

We believe that there isn't a price that compares to the unconditional love a pet could give. Even though we would love for every family to have a pet, we do need to charge a miminal fee to help cover a little of our costs. We do work with families that would love to have a pet but need a little bit of help to get them started.

We are a 501(c)3 rescue. We rescue most of our pets through county shelters, however we welcome all individual rescues and will be happy to list them as a courtesy post! We are in need of Foster Homes! If you would like to open your home and heart to one of our rescued pets by fostering, please let us know!

We would like to thank the staff at the Michigan Street Animal Hospital, the Kindred Spirits Animal Hospital, our Petco Partner on the corner of Bumby and Colonial, ELF Pet Products for their generous donation of keeping our dogs fed with high quality food, and the Petco Foundation for their compassion and generosity.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simone, a Orlando Norwegian Elkhound/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Elkhound/Shiba Inu for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Norwegian Elkhound/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Elkhound/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Norwegian Elkhound/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
