Cheyenne's Story...
Introducing Cheyenne! She's a 5 year old Dalmatian mix. Cheyenne was surrendered to Friendship because her family was having financial problems. She's super friendly and loves attention. Cheyenne likes kids but they should be a little older. Cats are not part of her social circle. This pretty girl has been an outdoor dog most of her life. She would love to find a home that would make her an indoor dog. If you're interested in adopting Cheyenne and have kids and/or another dog in your family, please bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheyenne, a Elyria Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
