Hi my name is Sage! Foster mom was standing in the parking lot of one of the Houston area shelters when someone drove by and threw me out of a car right in front of her! Foster mom felt so sorry for me that she loaded me up and took me home. I have one bad eye, but it was already that way when I got to foster mom. The doctor says it will be fine to just leave my bad eye the way it is, and I can see fine with my other eye. I dont particularly like other kitties, but I am able to be civil. Did you see my luxurious white fur and my beautiful Turkish Van markings? I like getting petted, but sometimes I get nervous because of the way I was treated. I am hoping to find a loving home where I will never be thrown away again! With a little TLC, I will come more out of my shell, just like I have been doing for foster mom. Will you take me home and love me furrrever?
Sage is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption fee is $85.

Our cats frequently change stores and attend different adoption events. It is possible they may not be at the store/event listed. Please EMAIL if you are interested in a specific cat and we can let you know exactly where that cat is. Several of our cats can be seen at the following Houston Petsmarts 7 days a week and can be adopted any time the store is open. Additional cats are available for viewing at Petsmart each Saturday from 12-6pm.

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.

We provide medical care in the form of vaccinations, testing, spay/neuter services to all of our animals prior to adopting them into loving forever homes. The adoption fee is $85 for cats and $125 for dogs. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
