Chewby's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chewby's Story...
Chewby is a 3 year old male Shih Tzu. He is blond with a dark face. He is sweet and playful. He loves children and other dogs and is great with people too. He has no agression issues at all. His owner had to turn him over because of financial reasons. She liked to keep his face groomed very short, but once it grows out he will look a little more like the breed. He would make a terrific pet for any family. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewby, a Brattleboro Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
