Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oobie
5 Year Old Gray and White Declawed Male Ragdoll
COURTESY POST
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Oobie is a very cute boy with gorgeous blue eyes. He is very affectionate and sometimes a lap cat, that is, if he chooses to be. Like the Ragdoll breed, Oobie is docile and a "floppy" cat. He is relaxed in temperament, gentle and easy to handle. Oobie is neutered and declawed.
So why are Oobie's owners re-homing him? They feel he is not happy living with the circumstances in their home. This is showing by Oobie urinating outside his litter box. His owners have tried all that their vet has recommended so they think the cause is something within the house. Possible issues may be that there is another cat in the house and he and Oobie do have occasional squabbles. Or it could be the dog whom Oobie avoids. Then there are the children in the house and for Oobie the noise and turmoil could be a problem. The owner is looking for someone who knows that just because a cat acts out in one situation, doesn't mean it will continue in another when the cause is eliminated. Oobie's owners feel that in a single cat household with someone who can give Oobie more attention than they can, will see the end of this problem.
If you would like more information on Oobie, contact his owner, Lee at 415-461-1077. Please know that Oobie is not in a Purebreds Plus foster home but residing with his owner who is placing him.
