Midnight's Story...
Written by Midnights foster....

Midnight is a wonderful cat. He loves attention, and follows me everywhere I go. He loves to sleep on the couch while I'm sitting there and sleep on my bed at night.
He greets my guests at the door - he is a very social boy!
He loves to run around the house when he's in a playful mood, but he doesn't have much of an attention span for toys.
He is very clean and barely sheds. He is constantly grooming his shiny, black fur.
He is a beautiful cat and he knows it!
He also meows a lot. :-)

Other things to know....
Midnight does not seem to be comfortable around small children. He also does best as an only animal or at least as the only cat.

Sadly this loving little boy has been in the adoption system for quite some time because he does not handle the adoption center well. (It is hard to keep a positive attitude when you are constantly over-looked for a cute kitten or a more colorful cat or.... well just when you keep being overlooked)

Please come and meet Midnight In the adoption center at the Chandler/101 Petsmart starting Saturday, Sept 15..... and please don't be put off if he shows you his gruff side. He's had a bad year. Being homeless wears on animals too.

MIdnights adoption fee is $55 which includes micro-chipping, spay/neutering, felv/fiv testing and shots.

About Kit Kat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Kit Kat Rescue is an animal rescue organization helping the thousands of cats and dogs throughout the Phoenix Area. We are a 501 C3 tax exempt, no-kill, non-profit organization.
Our goal is to save as many lives as possible and raise enough money to have a shelter in the East Valley.

Foster Homes

Our highest priority is Foster Homes! All of our animals spend time in loving foster homes. The more foster homes we have to provide them temporary shelter and love, the more lives we can save. Fostering is easy, you simply provide the pet with food, water and a loving home until he/she is ready to be adopted by their forever family. Won't you consider sharing your home?

Please contact us at for more information - each and every soul saved will thank you!

We have many rewarding volunteer opportunities including:

Play time at adoption centers
Cleaning and organization at adoption centers
Bedding laundry detail
Animal tranport (i.e. vet visits)
Administrative work from your own home
Fundraising Coordination
Anything you can think of to help the animals and us!
Let us know how you would like to help!

Our Adoption Process...

We do Cat and Dog consultations with an adoption councilor or Petsmart Manager. Adoption Interest Forms maybe required prior to adoption and Adoption Forms are required at adoption. All cats must be taken home in a carrier and dogs must be taken home on a leash or carrier when leaving the store.
Kitten/Cat adoption fees range from $55-$75. We may give a discount if two animals are taken together or if we have an adoption special in place.
We microchip Cats and Dogs for a $20.00 donation. A dog home inspection will be conducted by the Dog Coordinator.
