Leena's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Leena's Story...
This is Leena, she was surrendered by her owner which was very devastating for her. However, with the love and patience of the staff and volunteers;especially Michael; Leena has settled in nicely. Leena is @ 5 to 6 years old, weighs @ 25 lbs. and stands @ 10 inches at the shoulder.
Leena is a ball freak, she LOVES her ball. She will play fetch for hours with Michael in the exercise yard.
Leena also LOVES to go for her walks with the volunteers. She also gets along very well with the other dogs in the exercise yard.
Leena would do well in an active home where she will be included. I don't see children being a problem for Leena.
Let's get Leena her forever home..
Call the shelter at 519 627-6722 or e-mail Susan for more info on Leena.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leena, a Wallaceburg Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in Wallaceburg, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Wallaceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wallaceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wallaceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wallaceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
