Leo's Story...
Leo

Est. DOB: January 11, 2011

Description: DLH Black and White

Gender: Male

Adoption Fee: $100.00

Leo is a terribly handsome boy and he just wants all your love and attention. He’s very affectionate, will follow you around and just wants to be near you at all times!

Leo is a bit insecure, and would probably do best in a home without young children or other pets. He does get along with other cats, so if he did live with another cat it would need to be an easy going cat that didn’t bully him.

Leo was returned to Alley Cats and Angels when his family could no longer keep him.

Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Apex Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
