Ruff Ruff! My name is Bailey
I am already spayed, housetrained, and not good with kids.
Bailey was picked up as a stray and shortly afterward it was discovered that she was pregnant. The next day she was transferred to foster care while she was in labor with her litter of five. She had some complications during surgery that required an emergency C-section. In the end two very lucky pups survived the ordeal and she has been a wonderful, devoted and protective mother to them. Bailey was clearly a well-cared for dog at some point but her physical condition and demeanor indicate she has spent some time on the streets.
Once a bond of trust is established with her, Bailey will follow you around, especially if you have food, and will snuggle up into a hug or try to burrow comfortably in your lap for a snooze. She's careful and sweet about taking food or treats from your hand without nipping fingers or begging. However, she does show fear aggression when meeting new people. Bailey would do best in a home without many visitors especially a home where there are not any children visiting. If children will be in her home they will need to be calm and patient also. Baily is better suited for a home with older children or no children at all. Her forever family will need to be very patient with her in the beginning, they must earn her trust and be pack leaders for her, otherwise she will take over as pack leader.
