This is Charlie! Charlie was found as a stray and brought to the police department. They called us, and Charlie moved to our care! He was absolutely covered in mats -- looked painful as can be. He also had extremely long nails. We shaved him down, cut his nails, and he's one spunky dude! He's got a fantastic temperament, very good dog. He looks super cute with fur, soft...fluffy! Currently he looks a little odd, I can agree with what you're likely thinking. Charlie is an awesome dog and would love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Danbury Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
