Farley's Story...
I’m Farley and yes, I’m cute as could be. For a family of my own I would swim the deepest sea. And let me tell you, oh let me tell you, my heart is as big and beautiful as the sky is blue. I’m a gentle boy and very eager to please, one kiss from me and you’ll fall to your knees! I love children and other dogs too. I love car rides and walks, and cuddling with you. Crate trained w/ brains and sweetness galore, you can love me a ton, but I’ll love you much more! Just give me a chance, oh give me chance and you’ll fall for my soul at very first glance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farley, a Portland Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
