Keely's Story...
Keely and her sisters Lizzy & Jasmine were 3 of several cats confined to a carrier and kept in a hotel room since birth. They are now about 6 to 8 months old. They were given very little food and water and let out for a brief period once a day. They are severely under weight. The authorities were notified and the cats were taken away and placed in various local shelters. Now at Forgotten Felines, these three girls are fortunate to have food and water at their disposal and a room to walk around in. They are very friendly and love to be around people. Keely will never pass up a chance to be petted and held. Like her sisters, she is a sweet, affectionate cat who longs to be part of a family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keely, a Clinton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clinton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
