About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small group of concerned citizens of Red River County. We are trying to get animals without a home adopted and to get as many as we can spayed and or neutered to control the pet population. We are trying to make the public aware of how many do not have a home, how many are starving and how much we need their help. We take our animals to adoption every weekend in hopes of finding them a home and keep them until we do find a home. We have very few foster homes but do the best we can with what we as a small group can do. We do this because we hate to see an animal starving, or a Mama dog skin and bone with nursing pups, or one that has no home and no one to love or take care of it. We love animals..... We have found some really great homes and we may cry when they leave us because we hate to see them go but also because we know they have found the home that has been waiting for them. It is very rewarding and if we only adopt 1 on a whole day of trying it makes it all worthwhile.

We are usually in McKinney every Saturday at 121 and Custer at PetSmart or in Denton at 1441 South Loop 288 and are trying to get set up to go to other PetSmarts in our area. We also go to Colorado occasionally to Pet Adoptions there.
You can find us on FaceBook and all our pets are listed on Petfinder.com also. I try to keep everything updated and to keep the public informed of our activities.
We are now in the process of having a booth at our local fair. Red River County Fair September 19th - September 22, 2012. We will have free brochures, free bookmarks, tickets to buy $1.00 donation to win a prize and selling items to raise money for the Red River County Humane Society too

Our Adoption Process...
There are contracts to fill out prior to being accepted as a possible home for our pets and there is a fee. The fees vary according to what we provided for the pet. Pets not spayed/neutered prior to adoption will receive a voucher to be completed by the vet and returned to us for a portion of the adoption fee refunded.
