Dudley-Adopted!'s Story...
Dudley will melt your heart with his sweet personality! This young boy was found as a stray by one of our volunteers, starved and abandoned. He had glaucoma in his right eye and very limited vision so the vet recommended it be removed so he would be more comfortable. He has full vision in his left eye. Despite this, Dudley has quickly proven to be a complete lover, great with people and other dogs. He is going to make such a devoted companion for one lucky family! We recommend a calmer home with older children only and perhaps another dog . Birth date 1/13/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dudley-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
