Romeo's Story...
Hi, my name is Romeo! I weigh around 20 lbs and am estimated to be 3 years old. Once you meet me, I will quickly win your heart. I am a very happy little fella and am full of smiles! I get very excited when I get to meet new people and I get along with everyone. I also play very well with other dogs. I enjoy playing with my toys and love to play fetch in the yard! I have a moderate amount of energy and would benefit from regular walks and a fenced in yard to play in would be great! I also really enjoy going for walks and do just fine on a leash. I am fully housetrained which is always a plus! I enjoy the safety of my crate, especially when it is storming. I can't wait to find my forever home so please email info@FORrescue.net to fill out an application and find out more information.

Romeo is current on heartworm and flea preventative, neutered and current on vaccinations. He is being posted as a courtesy to another rescue and is not affiliated with Friends of Retrievers. Romeo is being fostered near Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Huntsville Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
