Sweet Freckles Goodpup is a textbook version of why giving a living, breathing being as a gift is a really, really bad idea. Here's the skinny: Daughter, feeling guilty at leaving for college and leaving Mom and Dad to wallow in their loneliness, gets a beagle pup from "a breeder in Indiana" (i.e. puppymill) and voila! The perfect Christmas gift for the grieving, lonely parents! Except Mom and Dad aren't really grieving or lonely...they are looking forward to some unfettered freedom. They have plans to move to a No Pets Allowed retirement home. Enter Beagle Rescue...

Freckles is sweet and socialized with humans, and although at first quite frightened of the other dogs in her foster home, has quickly learned to join the fun and games.

Freckles is a beautiful lemon beagle...tan and white.

Adoptive Status: Will be spayed, UTD on shots and micro-chipped within two weeks after the posted date.
