Handsome Ben's Story...
So adorable, this outgoing teen kitten is looking for a loving family and safe home. He enjoys playing with other kitties and has an awesome big personality that makes him such a special kitten. He definitely is the leader of the pack. He is brave as they come and first to welcome human kindness and cuddle time. Ben would love to be adopted with his sister (Lady Gaga) who is listed separately, but he can definitely be adopted by himself as well. Ben is ready for a great forever home with a loving person who adores kittens. He is around 8 months old.

Ben was rescued behind a building in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He has been neutered/spayed, tested negative for fiv/leuk, is up-to-date with all of his shots and microchipped.

To meet this beautiful boy, contact catskittensnyc@gmail.com or call 718-455-5711 eves and weekends.

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel, every penny goes back to rescuing the next sweetie on the street.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Handsome Ben, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
