Coffee's Story...
Brindle Male, Birth Date 9/25/2005
Cat and small dog friendly NO!!!!
Kids: 8 +
Coffee, At 80 pounds, this big, almost 7 year old Brindle boy is very fit. He thinks he is 2 and loves his toys and chew bones. Although he tries to be in charge, Coffee is a bit needy and wants his people close and he does need a large canine partner. A very bossy female would be perfect. Coffee would not be very happy home alone. He does accept kids who are confident and not grabby. A bit shy and nervous in new situations, he tends to be pushy, but in a few days he learns that he is home and Coffee mellows very nicely and loves to cuddle. He does not react well to loud, sudden noises or fireworks. A calm house will suit him just fine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coffee, a Orange County Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Orange County, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Orange County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange County paves the way for another one to be saved.
