Mariah's Story...
Mariah is tiny, fuzzy, and squishy. What else can we say?? She's in a foster home with dogs, a pup, and other cats. She's seen it all at her young age of 8 weeks and she loves everybody! Her foster parents would love to tell you all about her - and will send additional photos and videos. Her foster parents were at a shelter to pick up a foster pup when they passed Mariah's cage. She was alone, staring out in boredom - and was delighted to hitch a ride out of that joint! Mariah is fostered in Huntsville, AL. To inquire and learn more, please email INFO@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mariah, a Hamburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
