Shorty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Shorty's Story...
Shorty is a 2yr. old Corgi / Chow boy and sweet as can be. He is shaved down in the pics with his big fluffy tail not shaved. He came from a family with children and is well socialized. He also gets along great with other dogs. Shorty loves belly rubs in the cool grass. The family could no longer keep Shorty and he was brought to our shelter for a new home.

Shorty is up to date on vaccinations, altered and ready to go to a new home. He does have a longer coat which will grow back by fall so he will need to be groomed at home or at a groomer.

Adoption fee:$295.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Mora Chow Chow/Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Welsh Corgi for sale in Mora, or seeking a Chow Chow/Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Mora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Chow Chow/Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mora paves the way for another one to be saved.
