ADAM NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Adam  Breed: Catahoula Leopard/Doxie mix

Approximate Age: 1 year

Approximate Weight: 17 pounds

Currently Living at: FOSTER!

Meet our cuite pie Adam Puppy.  He is a 1 year old Catahoula Leopard/Doxie mix.  His coat is medium in length which will require some grooming and he does shed.  Adam is picky about his dog friends, but with proper introduction, loves his canine buddies. Adam is better with kids over the age of 15.  We are not sure about cats, but can have him tested.

Adam is very playful and an energetic dog. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard, but if you don't have one he will need to go on long walks and he walks well on leash.  Going to the dog park would be too stressful for him right now.  Adam is proficient at de-squeaking any plush toy and will be happy to remove all the stuffing as well.  He also enjoys a good game of fetch.  Adam is great on car rides and will just curl up on the seat.

Adam is a sweet pup that needs time to warm up to new people, dogs and places.  He will need an experienced dog owner that can help with his socialization and teach him to trust new things.  Once he has warmed up to you, he is very affectionate and will be your little shadow.  Adam will need someone that is committed to training him.  If you are looking for a small/medium sized dog, that is fun, playful and loving, please consider adopting Adam Puppy.  He will be your faithful companion forever.

The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Linda at lindag@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

About Our Rescue Group...
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue rescues homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters, owners who can no longer care for them, and other high-risk situations. Lucky Dog works with dedicated volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and kennels to provide loving temporary care while we find well-matched, carefully screened forever homes for each dog we take in. We also serve as a support group to our adopters and all dog owners by providing ongoing education and resources for the well-being of their dogs, including the importance of proactive spay/neuter policies, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
