My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 08/05/2012: Butler is a 6 year old, 5.6 lb lovable Yorkie, although he would be healthier at 7 to 8 lbs. He was surrendered by his owners because they could no longer afford his care, which besides yearly exams is prescription food (though it isn't any more costly than premium dog food FM already feeds her furkids). See, he has a liver shunt. This week he went to the dogtor for the first time in years. So far so good, he checked out well and got all his shots. We are waiting for the blood work results to determine the next steps to treat the liver shunt, and to neuter and clean his teeth. Butler has a beautiful fluffy black and tan coat and his tail is not bobbed. He is house trained, very obedient and loves to play with the other fur friends at FM and FD’s house.

Butler here, just wanted to let you know I am doing fine! FM and FD’s house is fun, I love to cuddle and I get to sleep with them at night. I have fur friends to play with and love going outside in the back yard. So far, I am eating the proper diet for my liver shunts, and have even managed to put on a few ounces. I can’t wait until all my labs and treatment are complete so I can be adopted. I think I would like to be in a house with other fur friends, but it will be okay if I am the only dog in town as long as I get loving from my people friends. Can’t wait to be in my furever home!
