Milo - Adoption Pending's Story...
Milo is a 2 year old, 85 lb neutered male hound / boxer cross who is housetrained and up to date on shots. He is tan with brown eyes. He is described by his owner as a big suck, very affectionate & kissy. Milo loves to play outside and has an ever-wagging tail. Milo is smart and learns quickly. Milo has the typical "eat anything" hound appetite and typical to a boxer, LOVES to play fetch. He has lived with and is great with cats. He has lived with several dogs, however, he needs some supervision around new dogs. He has a balanced, medium activity personality and would do best with a strong owner who can give him firm and consistent guidance. He is fine and playful with strangers and older kids, but a bit too boisterous for a home with small children. Milo and his brother Dante (adopted) are true rescue dogs; their original owner rescued them from Mexico as puppies, where they were bred as ring-fighting dogs. Although cancer has changed the circumstances of their owner such that she could not keep these sweet brothers, she is a true "animal rescuer" and thanks to her, neither brother saw the inside of a dogfighting ring. Milo is now in foster care with two other dogs and doing GREAT! Ask us about a "meet and greet" if you would like to consider adding Milo into your family.
