Here's what the humans have to say about me:
e was dumped by his family, confused and scared! A kind woman rescued him from a KILL shelter and tried to find him a home.He was placed in a foster home but is now at risk of being placed in LONG TERM boarding or worse taken back to the shelter!! Franky did not respond well to being CAGED 24/7 as most dogs don't. HE NEEDS A NEW HOME ASAP!!
Here is his story:
Franky is a 3 year old lab mix (shep/chow). He weighs 47 lbs. He is 100% house trained. He was crated in the beginning since the foster mom was uncertain with how he would do when she wasn't home and he did fine in the crate. A week later she tried it without him having to be crated in the house while she is gone and it has stayed that way ever since. He is great in the house. Franky has not had anywhere to run or be off the leash, He is strong on the leash because of it. All he wants is to run free and expend his energy! He can be a bit guarding/territorial at first meetings with strangers. He can be mouthy at first intro's with strangers. His foster mom has been giving him obedience training that was not done previously and he responds well.
