Chalupa's Story...
Hi, my name is Chalupa, but my foster Mom calls me Snowball. I am a sweet, 9 month old, 37 pound lab mixed with mutt!!! I have little shar pei ears and had another shar pei trait - the eyelashes on my right eye grew inward and constantly rubbed my eyeball. But this nice Rescue took me in and immediately had surgery done to correct this condition. The photo is before I had the surgery and you can see that my right eye is partially closed. I am fine now, look totally normal and feel ever so much better!

I like to play with other dogs and ignore cats. I can use a doggy door and if you don't have one, I will go to the door and bark to go out. I am spayed, current on shots and micro chipped and ready for my new person or family! My adoption donation is $200. Please call (623) 587-9119 or call or text (925) 209-6480 for more information and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chalupa, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
