Luke's Story...
Hey there! My name is Luke, and boy, am I cute! I'm only four months old, but already am bursting with personality. I'd love to romp and play in a furr-ever home. I've got these crazy-special tabby spot markings...spots that have stripes, kinda cool, huh? And personally, I've heard that tabbies are very, very smart and lovable. If you adopt me, you can find out for yourself! I'd love to come home with you! I was brought in as "lost" but you can "find" me in kennel #133. I'll be waiting!

Love, Luke

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
