Augusta's Story...
Augusta, is a dainty 1 year old Rat Terrier-who weights in at whopping 10 lbs. Although she is just a tiny girl, she is HUGE in smarts and personality. She mastered the skill of using the doggy door in no time, and is working on Sit and Stay. She’s such a well-behaved little sweetheart with impeccable house manners! Augusta is about 95% house trained, walks great on a leash, very good in the car, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. At night she sleeps in her crate; although she would much rather snuggle up to her person in bed. Are you looking for a “turnkey” dog? One that is easily portable and friendly? One that will only need a short adjustment period before fitting in like she has been there forever? One that will reward you with undying love and loyalty for giving her a secure, loving home for the rest of her life? Augusta just may be the girl you’ve been searching for. For more info or to apply to adopt, please write to heartapps@yahoo.com. Augusta’s adoption fee is $175.00.You can seem more pictures of Augusta here

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Augusta, a Irvine Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
