Minnow's Story...
Meet Minnow! She and her brother Guppie were brought to a local shelter. Luckily the shelter called AGK for help and of course we went running. Minnow is a 3-4 month golden retriever mix. She is a very sweet and very well behaved girl. She loves her foster pups and loves to cuddle. Minnow needs another dog in the house and a work at home or stay at home parent to continue her training and socialization. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnow, a Knoxville Golden Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
