My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparky is a wonderful, sweet, affectionate, smart rough-coat male who was saved from a South Carolina shelter. Sparky's previous owner loved him dearly and he spent only a few days in the shelter before we took him into our rescue. He loves to be close to you and do what you do. He is easy-going and thoughtful and generally responds very well to voice commands. He is one of the most affectionate, smart little fellows we've had here in a long time. We just love him. He is quite calm.

Sparky loves to be outside and chase squirrels up the trees. He loves his tennis ball, riding in the car and going on leash walks. He also loves to lie next to you while you read or watch TV and will occasionally invite a good belly rub. Sparky is one of those special little fellows that loves to do what you do. He'll hang out with his foster dad while he works in the shop or the yard. He just loves to be with his human. He also gets along great with all the other Jack Russells at his foster home.

Sparky is 6 years old and very healthy. He is recently neutered, up to date on vaccines (distemper/parvo, bordatella, rabies) and is on heartworm/parasite prevention and flea/tick prevention medications. Sparky is a very special fellow. He will make a great life-long companion for someone looking for a special bond with a special fellow. He's wonderful.
