Cooper's Story...
Cooper is an absolute doll! He is very easy-going and well-mannered. He is approximately 7 years old and a laid-back family would be best for him. He came to our rescue with his sister, Chloe, already housetrained and crate trained. Cooper and Chloe must be rehomed to the same home. They have been together their whole lives and we can't imagine separating them. Due to the neglect of their previous owner, they do have some health issues. Chloe suffers from pancreatitus that requires special food. For some dogs this is a life long issue and for others it goes away over time. We are not sure yet where Chloe stands on that. Cooper has an enlarged heart that will require medication for the rest of his life. If you are interested in Cooper and Chloe, we would be happy to let you know about the cost associated with their food and medication. They are exceptionally sweet dogs and we would love to see them make it into a wonderful home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Christiana Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
