Molly's Story...
Hi, my name's Molly! I'm a 3 year old terrier mix. I was brought into the shelter by my owner because he was moving and couldn't take me with him. I'm good around other dogs, and kids, we're not sure how I am with cats yet. I am here at the shelter with my brother, Max. As you can tell by the pictures he looks just like me, only he's a little bigger than I am. We are very attached to each other and need to be adopted out together. We're both housebroken, up to date on shots, have microchips, and have been spayed/neutered. Now all we need is someone to give us a home and love us! Do you think you have room in your house and heart for two wonderful dogs like us? The shelter is open on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 1-8 and Wednesday's and Friday's from 1-5, come visit us!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Youngwood Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
