Cheddar's Story...
Hi my name is Cheddar and I am a boxer mix-- my birthday is May 24, 2012. I am 11 weeks old and weigh around 9 pounds. My life started rough where I was born but now I am doing great at my foster home. I am wonderful around other dogs and my 2 brothers (Pepper Jack and Muenster). I am also great with children.
I am only 11 weeks old so I am still learning potty training. I will be available for adoption after I am neutered on August 9, 2012.
Cheddar is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet him. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheddar, a Cincinnati Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
