Clara's Story...
Hi there! My name is Clara, am I not the cutest thing you have ever set eyes on? I am a two year old female American Staffordshire Terrier. I top in at barely 40 pounds soaking wet :) So I am a medium sized dog. Right now I live at my foster home where I have been for four months. I have been there this long because when I was pulled out of the dog pound on death row I had mange. I am all clear of that now and am ready to find my forever home! I am completely house trained and would never think to potty in the house as that is not very lady like. I live with multiple other dogs and cats. I even live with a giant tortoise who roams the house in Depends diapers and get along fine with him! I am really best buddies with Pablo who is also on our Petfinder looking for his forever home. I do love to play with other dogs so a home with a playmate my size or larger would be ideal for me. A home with very small children might not be so ideal with my play style. I do like to play rough and love to bite the ankles of my larger playmates. But hey, that is the only place I can reach since I am so short :) I will tell you though that I am the princess! I do sleep in my foster homes bed under the covers at night. She does complain about it because she says I snore like a lumberjack, but she can get over it, I mean look how cute I am, no one can resist this cute face :) So if you think I might be the perfect fit for you, please fill out a Statement of Interest and someone will get back to you shortly! Thanks so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, a Bellingham Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
